What fiber should be used with OSFP-800G-2DR4?

OSFP-800G-2DR4 is recommended to be used with OS2 single-mode MPO/APC cables, usually 12-fiber MPO/APC Type-B polarity cables, with a maximum transmission distance of up to 500m.

What is the difference between IHS and RHS in OSFP transceivers?

IHS refers to Integrated Heat Sink, meaning that the transceiver has an integrated heat sink. It is commonly seen in Finned Top or Closed Finned Top structures and is mainly used in air-cooled switch environments. RHS refers to Riding Heat Sink, meaning that the transceiver itself does not have an integrated heat sink, and the heat sink is located on the device-side cage. It is commonly seen in Flat Top modules or specific liquid-cooled / server platforms.
